    Already Overseas

    If you are already overseas and need travel insurance due to your previous policy expiring, or you forgot to buy travel insurance and need to be covered while overseas and for your return trip back to Australia you can purchase while overseas. The trip must end at your home in Australia. A 48 hour waiting period applies for all policies purchased when you are already overseas. Click here to find out more

    Annual Multi Trip

    Annual Multi Trip Plan, trip(s) means any travel up to 31, 45, 62 & 91 days in duration based on the plan you select. This duration is between the departure date and return date shown on your Certificate of Insurance. Each trip must:
     
    • Start and end at your home in Australia, and 
    • Be to a destination of at least 100km from your home in Australia, and 
    Designed for people who are travelling internationally and domestically. 

    Children & Under 18's

    Cover is extended to include Your children or grandchildren not in full-time employment who are under the age of 18 and are travelling with you for the entire duration of Your journey. It is a condition of cover that any accompanying children are noted on Your Certificate of Insurance.

    Child/Children must be the Children or Grandchildren of an Adult traveller that is on the same policy.

    If there is a child under 18 that is not a Child or Grandchild of an adult traveller on the policy please get a separate quote to apply travel insurance correctly.

    Coronavirus - Medical Cover

    Medical cover is included on all international policies for Corona Virus. If you need to be treated for coronavirus while travelling with will be included under Overseas Medical Expenses & Assistance.

    Cruise

     

    • Cruising is covered as standard on all international policies. 
    • If the cruise only stops in one country, just select that country. If the cruise stops at multiple destinations, add each destination. 
    • If the cruise only stops within Australia ports, please select ‘Australia - Cruise'

    Motorcycle

    One Way

    Policies are available for one-way travel overseas or to return back to Australia! Enter your departure and return dates which would be your active dates of insurance. Trip must start or end at your home in Australia. Find out more about one way travel insurance

    Activites in Indonesia

    Volcanoe Tours

    Hike to the top of an active volcano on Java Island or trek Mount Bromo, which is the most visited of Indonesia's volcanoes. Or get adventurous and travel to Kawah Ijen crater lake.
    Dormant volcanoes include Gunung Agung in Bali, Gunung Rinjani on Lombok island and Keli Mutu on Nusa Tenggara Barat. The lakes that have formed all have different coloured water.

    Ujong Kulon National Park

    Travel in dugout canoe through Ujong Kulon National Park which is located in the far south western tip of Java. Locate the elusive Java rhino that lives in these terrain.

    Surfing / Tours

    For the best hot spot surf spots befriend the locals or go out for hunt for some amazing waves in Bali, Flores, Java, Lombok, Sumatra, Sumba and Sumbawa. Surfing beaches, such as Ulu Watu on Bali, tend to get overcrowded, but go out and organised trips or surfing tour to isolated areas with the locals.

    Mahakam River

    Venture up the Mahakam River in Kalimantan in Borneo, which is a network of rivers running from the mountains to the coasts. Samarinda is the first stepping stone, and you can involve yourself in such tours that continue deep into the upper jungle reaches, where tribal communities have largely preserved their traditions.

    Rainforest Jungle Trek

    Hike through the Indonesian rainforest in Irian Jaya, Kalimantan and Sumatra. This terrain is untouched and extremely remote. Ensure that you have travel insurance incase of emergency evacuation. The best trails include trips to Muller Mountain in Kalimantan, Bukit Barisan National Park and remote and magnificent peninsula in Sumatra.

    Scuba Diving

    Indonesia's coastline is reputed to contain 15% of the world's coral reefs. Bunaken National Park and Lembeh Strait, both in North Sulawesi, are magnificent. Beginners can even go wreck-diving to Tulamben Wreck off east Bali.

    Tsunami Museum

    The museum, in the province of Aceh is one of the areas worst hit by the 2004 tsunami. An educational centre has been developed to aid in evacuation procedures and help out as an emergency shelter if a tsunami hit again.

    Komodo and Rinca islands

    Take a boat to Komodo and Rinca islands in search of the world's largest lizard, the Komodo Dragon. The Komodo Dragon can be fatal if you get bitten so be very diligent
